make every day an occasion
Have you ever bought an item even though you have no idea where you're going to wear it? That's what happened with these shoes. I have barely worn them after getting them a few months ago, which is a sin! Take this as a challenge to wear that item in your daily life and flaunt it. (i.e. go take a walk in New York City in Aquazzura Mira Platform Sandals) If it's super high- end and over the top, then make the rest of your outfit casual. Mix different styles like I did here. You can do it with furniture and why not clothes too? It's all about making looks that are one of a kind and uniquely you. I hate that in the past I have just kept all my special clothes pushed to one side, like they're only allowed to come out for special occasions. Well how about this: celebrate each new day and dress accordingly. Make it an occasion that you're here and wear what makes you excited. Break the rules a little.
